There is a need for vessel substitute material in microsurgery. Currently autologous pieces of vessel are used. An experimental study in the rat model was undertaken to test the practicability of two different PTFE-prostheses (Goretex) of 1 and 2 mm in diameter and of different lengths. Results show an excellent patency rate of short grafts in high-flow vascular system. In contrast microvascular prostheses used in a low-flow vascular system were patent only for a short time.
显微外科手术需要血管替代材料。目前使用的是自体血管片段。在大鼠模型上进行了一项实验研究，以测试两种不同直径（1毫米和2毫米）、不同长度的聚四氟乙烯（戈尔特斯）假体的实用性。结果显示，在高流量血管系统中，短移植物的通畅率极佳。相比之下，在低流量血管系统中使用的微血管假体仅在短时间内保持通畅。
