Abstract
Using the Ames test system and tests of cytotoxicity in cultured mouse cells L the mutagenic and cytotoxic activity of the samples of the industrial waste water and washing mill effluents have been investigated. The tests of cytotoxicity make it possible to detect the effects which were not found in the Ames test.
