Abstract

We report the successful anesthetic management of a 24-year-old patient, with an active COVID-19 viral infection, scheduled for elective Cesarean section at 40 week of pregnancy. This was the first case in Greek region, and we report and discuss the difficulties and safety issues regarding a COVID-19 positive patient during an elective cesarean delivery. Regional anesthesia with full protective equipment for health personnel involved, along with careful planning and adherence to guidelines achieved safe completion of the operation.

摘要

我们报告了一例24岁新冠肺炎病毒感染活跃患者的成功麻醉管理案例，该患者计划在妊娠40周时进行择期剖宫产。这是希腊地区的首例此类病例，我们报告并讨论了择期剖宫产期间新冠肺炎阳性患者面临的困难和安全问题。为参与手术的医护人员配备全套防护设备进行区域麻醉，同时精心规划并严格遵守指南，从而安全完成了手术。
