In contrast to studying QRS complexes of supraventricular origin, examining the QRS wave form of ventricular origin provides the opportunity to explore the profession of the myocardial activation through unspecific pathways. New information can thus be deduced concerning the underlying myocardium as well as the point of origin of the depolarization of the ventricle.
