Abstract

The complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of golden pheasant from North China was sequenced by the shotgun genome skimming methods. The mitogenome of was 16,678 bp in length, consisting of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes and one non-coding control region (D-loop). Its overall base composition was 30.4% A, 24.8% T, 31.2% C and 13.6% G. All protein-coding genes had a typical ATG initiation codon except with GTG and terminated with a TAN codon, whereas terminated with a codon of AGG, and terminated with a single T. The ML phylogenetic tree constructed using 13 protein-coding genes showed that species formed a monophyletic group, which was sister to the clade clustered by the two genera and .

采用鸟枪法基因组重测序方法对华北地区红腹锦鸡的完整线粒体基因组(线粒体基因组)进行了测序。其线粒体基因组长度为16,678bp,由13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因、2个rRNA基因和1个非编码控制区(D-loop)组成。其总体碱基组成为A占30.4%、T占24.8%、C占31.2%、G占13.6%。除 以GTG为起始密码子外,所有蛋白质编码基因均具有典型的ATG起始密码子,并以TAN密码子终止,而 以AGG密码子终止, 和 以单个T终止。使用13个蛋白质编码基因构建的最大似然系统发育树表明, 物种形成了一个单系群,该单系群是由 属和 属聚类形成的分支的姐妹群。
