Abstract

The tissue expansion system developed at Odstock Hospital in 1983 and subsequently used in clinical practice is described. The case report illustrates the use of the twin version of this device in the elimination of male pattern baldness. Data are given revealing the tissue compliance and growth response to hydraulic expansion.
