Our patient was thrown through the roof of a soft-top Jeep. The right upper and lower lids and the cheek were separated completely from their attaching structures and were hinged laterally over the zygomatic arch. The patient had normal extraocular rotations but could not see when the face flap was replaced. Steps in repair of these separated structures are described. A satisfactory cosmetic and functional result was achieved by anatomic reconstruction. Ptosis surgery at a later date was necessary to give a more normal appearance.
