The authors studied 84 randomly selected participants who live in retirement communities to discover factors leading to successful completion of a wellness enhancing program. Four variables formed a discriminant function that correctly grouped 69 percent of participants. The authors discuss issues in identifying those most and least likely to benefit from wellness programs.
