Abstract

sp. 4 is a new cryptic species, collected in Changyang county, Hubei province, China. In this study, the whole mitochondrial genome of sp. 4 was first determined and characterized. The genome is 16,542 bp in length, containing 13 protein coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and a putative control region. Base on NJ, ML, and BI methods, we obtained the same topologies. sp. 4 clustered with and the divergence time was 1.78 Ma (95% CI 1.24-2.32 Ma), in concordance with the third period of last orogenic push of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, might contribute to the speciation of . sp. 4.

物种4是一个新的隐存物种,在中国湖北省长阳县采集。在本研究中,首次测定并表征了物种4的完整线粒体基因组。该基因组长度为16542bp,包含13个蛋白质编码基因、22个转运RNA基因、两个核糖体RNA基因和一个假定的控制区。基于邻接法、最大似然法和贝叶斯推断法,我们得到了相同的拓扑结构。物种4与……聚类,分歧时间为178万年前(95%置信区间为124 - 232万年前),这与青藏高原最后一次造山运动的第三阶段一致,可能促成了物种4的物种形成。
