Abstract

Valence tautomeric manganese(ii)-radical lamellar compounds {[Mn(NITIm)]X} with NITIm a nitronyl nitroxide radical and X = ClO (1) or BF (2) show a pressure-induced increase of their conversion temperature by approximately 40 K at a mild external pressure of 0.1 GPa, shifting the transition from near room temperature to hot temperature regions.
