[Surgical correction of the sagging abdomen].

The classification of pendants is made from the view of constitutional type and operating method. There are only two different kinds: skin pendant and fat pendant. The operating correcture of skin pendants is made by Contamin and of fat pendants by Schrimpf. Good operating results, little complications and no case of death make it possible beside the pendant plastic to do other surgical interventions so as laparotomies, herniotomies and vaginal operations. Beside an operating method that takes care of the skin, the following conditions must be fulfilled: an intact coronary- and circulation system, thrombosis prophylaxis, most carefull haemostasis, skin suture without tension and REDON-Drainage.
