Abstract

We determined the complete mitochondrial genome of the Jenkins whipray . The total length of the mitogenome was 17, 670 bp, consisted of 37 genes with typical gene order in vertebrate mitogenome. The nucleotide composition was: 30.5% A, 29.1% T, 26.5% C and 13.9% G. It had 70 bp short intergenic spaces and 22 bp overlaps. Two start codons (GTG and ATG) and two stop codons (TAG and TAA/T) were used in the protein-coding genes. The 22 tRNA genes were ranged from 67 bp (tRNA) to 75 bp (tRNA-). The phylogenetic result showed that was clustered with the Hortle's whipray .

我们测定了詹金斯黄貂鱼的完整线粒体基因组。该线粒体基因组全长17670 bp,由37个基因组成,具有脊椎动物线粒体基因组典型的基因排列顺序。核苷酸组成为:A占30.5%,T占29.1%,C占26.5%,G占13.9%。它有70 bp的短基因间隔和22 bp的重叠区域。蛋白质编码基因中使用了两个起始密码子(GTG和ATG)和两个终止密码子(TAG和TAA/T)。22个tRNA基因长度从67 bp(tRNA)到75 bp(tRNA-)不等。系统发育结果表明,[此处原文缺失具体物种名]与霍特尔黄貂鱼聚类在一起。
