We observed 87 patients with duodenal ulcer disease about one year. 46 patients (first group) after proximal gastric vagotomy were observed. A second group (41 patients) were treated with antacids only. We compared our patients for their complaints, consumption of antacids, relapse rate and clinical, social and genetic aspects. The clearly better results of the surgically treated patients allow the conclusion for a better quality of life in patients after proximal gastric vagotomy.
我们对87例十二指肠溃疡病患者进行了约一年的观察。观察了46例（第一组）接受近端胃迷走神经切断术的患者。第二组（41例患者）仅接受抗酸剂治疗。我们比较了两组患者的主诉、抗酸剂消耗量、复发率以及临床、社会和遗传方面的情况。手术治疗患者明显更好的结果表明，近端胃迷走神经切断术后患者的生活质量更高。
