Abstract

Here we report for the first time soluble lanthanide-transition-metal clusters LnCo (Ln = Eu, Gd and Dy) as effective homogeneous water oxidation electrocatalysts. The stable 48-metal LnCo clusters show an effective water oxidation activity under acidic conditions because of the synergistic effect between lanthanide and transition metals in O-O bond formation.

在此,我们首次报道了可溶性镧系-过渡金属簇LnCo(Ln = Eu、Gd和Dy)作为有效的均相水氧化电催化剂。稳定的48金属LnCo簇由于镧系元素和过渡金属在O-O键形成中的协同作用,在酸性条件下表现出有效的水氧化活性。
