The results of an investigation of the influence of microorgansims of the genus Nocardia on changes in the composition and properties of humic acids are presented. According to these data, the elemental composition and IR spectra showed different effects on the structure of humic acids after utilization of these compounds as a nutrient source for three and six months by microorganisms.
