Stabilizing lithium deposition and reducing excess lithium are the key factors to realize the practicability of lithium-metal batteries. Here, we construct an anode-free full battery, in which Ag coated three-dimensional Cu foam (Ag@3D-Cu) is applied as a lithiophilic current collector to regulate the lithium deposition while the LiS-based electrode is used as a cathode to avoid excess lithium.
