[Radiation ulceration of the skin and its treatment (author's transl)].

Radiation ulcera are a permanent source of danger. Their treatment may be long and difficult. Surgical competence is the clue to treatment. Conservative treatment is justified only in the beginning and for short periods. The goal of surgery is excision of damaged tissue and plastic cover with healthy skin. The technique will have to be chosen according to findings and localisation.
