Abstract
This paper includes many different epidemiological approaches to environmental health studies, and examples and discussion in terms of a limited number of exposures and diseases are provided. The methods described are not unfamiliar, but, by presenting a panorama in a linked context, it is intended to be constructive in developing ideas.
