Abstract

The complete mitochondrial (mt) genome of ssp. in Korea was sequenced and characterized. The mt genome is constituted of 37 genes (13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes and 2 ribosomal RNA genes) and a control region. Phylogenetic analysis based on the complete mt genome showed that the unidentified turtle had the mt genome closely related to that of , though it had distinct morphology compared to . This study can provide information for biogeographical studies and management plan for invasive species.

对韩国某亚种的完整线粒体(mt)基因组进行了测序和特征分析。线粒体基因组由37个基因(13个蛋白质编码基因、22个转移RNA基因和2个核糖体RNA基因)和一个控制区组成。基于完整线粒体基因组的系统发育分析表明,尽管该未鉴定的龟与[另一龟种]相比具有明显不同的形态,但其线粒体基因组与[另一龟种]的线粒体基因组密切相关。本研究可为生物地理学研究和入侵物种管理计划提供信息。
