Right iliac metastasis occurring eight years after resection of invasive bladder cancer: a case report.

A case of transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder which metastasized to the right ilium eight years after resection of the original tumor without recurrence in the urinary tract is reported. Both the original and metastatic tumors were shown by immunoperoxidase technique to contain carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The patient received a combination of intra-arterial chemotherapy, irradiation and hyperthermia with partial response.
