Parkinson's disease (PD) is a possible risk factor for corrected QT interval (QTc) prolongation. PD patients frequently take QTc-prolonging drugs. The aim of the study was to assess the prevalence of QTc prolongation in PD and the influence of drugs and other potential risk factors on the QTc length in PD.
101 patients with PD and a good quality ECG were included in the study. The prolonged QTc was defined as ≥450 ms for men and ≥460 ms for women. Bazett's (QTcB) and Framingham (QTcF) formulas were utilized to calculate QTc. Data about sex, age, PD duration, disease's severity, comorbidities and QTc-prolonging drugs were collected. Multiple linear regressions with backward elimination were used to assess factors influencing the QTc.
A long QTc was presented in 13 patients (12.9%) for QTcB and 4 patients (4%) for QTcF. Longer QTc in PD patients was associated with older age, male sex and QTc-prolonging drugs regardless of the used formula. The QTcB was also significantly affected by the heart rate (HR).
QTc prolongation is common in PD. Age, drugs and male gender are potential risk factors for QTc prolongation in PD.
帕金森病（PD）是校正QT间期（QTc）延长的一个潜在风险因素。PD患者经常服用可延长QTc的药物。本研究的目的是评估PD患者中QTc延长的患病率以及药物和其他潜在风险因素对PD患者QTc长度的影响。
本研究纳入了101例患有PD且心电图质量良好的患者。QTc延长定义为男性≥450毫秒，女性≥460毫秒。使用Bazett公式（QTcB）和弗雷明汉公式（QTcF）计算QTc。收集了有关性别、年龄、PD病程、疾病严重程度、合并症和可延长QTc的药物的数据。采用逐步回归的多元线性回归分析来评估影响QTc的因素。
根据QTcB，13例患者（12.9%）出现QTc延长；根据QTcF，4例患者（4%）出现QTc延长。无论使用何种公式，PD患者较长的QTc都与年龄较大、男性以及可延长QTc的药物有关。QTcB还受到心率（HR）的显著影响。
