A new muscle-localisator for the "Fadenoperation" according to Cüppers in demonstrated. In some points this new instrument reduces the difficulties of this operation: 1. Careful fixation of the eye with sufficient exposure of the operation-field. 2. Exact measurement of the new position of the muscle. 3. Exact localisation of the U-sutures for the new functional fixation of the muscle.
