Abstract

• Cardiac complications are the most common cause of death in dialysis patients. • Cardiac complications include coronary disease, arrhythmias, and valvular disease. • Valvular calcification can lead to valve dysfunction, conduction issues, and embolism. • With an increasingly dialysis-dependent and aged population, clinical prevalence is high.
