The reaction of intra-osseous fixed front teeth against defined forces was electronically registered as a distance-force function. The record was submitted to computer-assisted analysis. Comparison of the functions was made via the paramaters of algebraic definition. Analysis led to the submission that the resistance of tooth and tissues is primarily limited by the quality of the surrounding osseous tissue, which itself reacts in a rubber-elastic fashion.
