An organic-inorganic hybrid polyiodate, namely, [o-C H NHOH] [I O (OH)]⋅3 H O (I), featuring a novel branched polyiodate chain has been obtained by evaporation method. [o-C H NHOH] [I O (OH)]⋅3 H O (I) crystalizes in the polar space group Ia and features an [I O (OH)] branched polyiodate chain in which [I O ] trimers are grafted on the same side of the one-dimensional (1D) chain based on [I O (OH)] tetramers. The asymmetric organic amine groups are beneficial to the polymerization of iodate groups and inducing the formation of the non-centrosymmetric (NCS) structure. Compound I exhibits a rather large Second-Harmonic- Generation (SHG) signal of 8.5×KH PO (KDP) upon 1064 nm laser radiation, a moderate band gap of 3.90 eV and a high laser-induced-damage-threshold (LIDT) of 182.34 MW cm , hence it is a promising new SHG material. The relationship between the structures of the organic amine groups and the overall structures has been also analyzed.
通过蒸发法得到了一种有机-无机杂化多碘酸盐,即[邻- C₆H₅NH₂OH]₂[I₈O₂₀(OH)₂]·3H₂O(I),其具有新颖的支化多碘酸盐链。[邻- C₆H₅NH₂OH]₂[I₈O₂₀(OH)₂]·3H₂O(I)晶体属于极性空间群Ia,具有[I₈O₂₀(OH)₂]²⁻支化多碘酸盐链,其中[I₃O₉]三聚体接枝在基于[I₄O₁₂(OH)₂]四聚体的一维(1D)链的同一侧。不对称有机胺基团有利于碘酸根离子的聚合,并诱导形成非中心对称(NCS)结构。化合物I在1064 nm激光辐射下表现出相当大的二次谐波产生(SHG)信号,为8.5×KH₂PO₄(KDP),带隙适中,为3.90 eV,激光诱导损伤阈值(LIDT)高,为182.34 MW/cm²,因此它是一种很有前景的新型SHG材料。还分析了有机胺基团结构与整体结构之间的关系。
