[Dislocations of both forearm bones complicated by rupture of the capitate eminence of the humerus in children].

During the recent 21 years thirty one children have been observed with dislocations of the both forearm bones complicated by rupture of the capitate eminence. Closed reposition of the fragments has been performed in 23 children, in 8 children open reposition was followed by pin fixation with a thrust platform. The terms of fixation are dependent upon the patient's age and reposition quality. At an average they equaled 15-16 days in uncomplicated cases for patients aged 2-7 years, 17-18 days for 8-11 years-aged patients, 19 days for 12-14 years-aged patients. Good long-term results were achieved in 20 of 24 patients.
