A model of the Polish ultrasonic scalpel was developed in 1984. The experimental comparison of cutting and the wound healing of different tissues was the object after using an ultrasonic scalpel and a classic scalpel. The experiments were carried out in 10 rabbits. The tests showed that the ultrasonic scalpel is not suitable for cutting skin and fascia on the other hand it can be useful in the surgery of parenchymatous organs.
1984年研制出了一种波兰超声手术刀模型。使用超声手术刀和传统手术刀后，对不同组织的切割和伤口愈合情况进行了实验比较。实验在10只兔子身上进行。测试表明，超声手术刀不适合切割皮肤和筋膜，另一方面，它在实质性器官手术中可能有用。
