[Catamnestic study of subarachnoid hemorrhage 1976-1985 at the Wismar regional hospital].

Medical records and follow-up examinations of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) in the period of 1976 to 1985 at a regional hospital are evaluated with respect to diagnosis, time of operation, and prognosis and the results are discussed. Problem cases were singled out and the necessity of an immediate operation in the presence of the existing conditions was derived and substantiated.
