The present study describes the essential neuron and axon typology in the nucleus commissuralis of the rabbit inferior colliculus. Cytoarchitectonically, the nucleus is divided in five cellular zones: 1) subpial; 2) plexiform dendritic, 3) central; 4) ventral and 5) periaqueductal zone this latter surrounding the commissural neuropil. Each zone possess particular neuronal types which were described according to its dendritic pattern. In addition, three axonal systems each oriented in a different plane of the commissure of the inferior colliculus were described. Each system possess particular axonal arborizations. Of particular interest is the arrangement of vertical fibres and dendrites in the central zone where they form dendrite and axonal bundles.
本研究描述了兔下丘连合核中的基本神经元和轴突类型。从细胞构筑学角度来看,该核分为五个细胞区:1)软膜下区;2)丛状树突区;3)中央区;4)腹侧区;5)导水管周围区,后者围绕着连合神经毡。每个区域都有特定的神经元类型,这些类型是根据其树突模式来描述的。此外,还描述了三个轴突系统,每个系统都在下丘连合的不同平面上定向。每个系统都有特定的轴突分支。特别值得关注的是中央区垂直纤维和树突的排列,它们在那里形成树突束和轴突束。
