This article describes a new Salmonella serovar, subspecies I, S. Dibra, with the antigenic formula 28: a: z6, found from the intestinal content of a tortoise, in the district of Dibra, isolated and identified at the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Tirana, Albania.
