Abstract

Decision-making in the treatment of proximal humerus fractures can be challenging. A careful assessment of the patient's anticipated activity and specific fracture features can help determine which treatment strategy best aligns with an individual's goals. Treatment of geriatric proximal humerus fractures is dependent on these factors and an awareness of one's own technical ability.
