Abstract
The authors report a case of unilateral acute suppurative parotiditis in which the endo-buccal examination allowed the removal of a hair from the parotid duct. The histologist demonstrated that the hair belonged to the child and that its removal was sufficient to ensure cure.

作者报告了一例单侧急性化脓性腮腺炎病例，通过口腔内检查从腮腺导管中取出了一根毛发。组织学家证实这根毛发属于该患儿，并且取出毛发足以确保治愈。
