[Suppurative parotitis caused by a foreign body in a 4-year-old child].

The authors report a case of unilateral acute suppurative parotiditis in which the endo-buccal examination allowed the removal of a hair from the parotid duct. The histologist demonstrated that the hair belonged to the child and that its removal was sufficient to ensure cure.
