Abstract

Lower lip defects are a major challenge from a reconstructive perspective. The lower lip is an anatomical region formed by different types of tissue, and it is essential to obtain adequate functional and aesthetic results. When local tissue is available to be a donor area, it becomes the best option to repair the defect. This article's purpose is to present our experience in reconstruction of partial or transfixing total defects of the lower lip with the musculocutaneous flap of the depressor anguli oris described by Yotsuyanagi.

下唇缺陷从重建的角度来看是一个主要的挑战。下唇是由不同类型的组织构成的解剖区域,获得足够的功能和美学效果至关重要。当有足够的局部组织可以作为供区时,它成为修复缺陷的最佳选择。本文旨在介绍我们应用由 Yotsuyanagi 描述的降口角肌肌皮瓣修复下唇部分或贯通性全层缺损的经验。
