Abstract

A new species of freshwater crab of the genus Bott, 1968 is described from Xiaye Village, Chengxiang Town, Longhai County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, China. The new species is distinguished from congeners by the combination of characters of its carapace, third maxilliped, unequal chelipeds, triangular male abdomen and unique male first gonopod. Molecular evidence derived from partial mitochondrial 16S rRNA and COI genes also support the species as new.

本文描述了中国福建省漳州市龙海县城厢镇下叶村发现的一种淡水蟹新物种（属于Bott属，1968年）。该新物种通过其头胸甲、第三颚足、螯足不等、雄性腹部呈三角形以及独特的雄性第一生殖肢等特征组合与同属其他物种相区分。来自线粒体部分16S rRNA和COI基因的分子证据也支持该物种为新物种。
