This work reports the first catalyzed synthesis of d-block metal-metal bonded complexes. The treatment of terminal zinc hydrides [LZnH] [L = CHC(2,6-PrCHN)CHC(CH)(N(CH)CHPR); = 1, 2; R = Ph, Pr] in the presence of 5 mol% Ni(CO)(PPh) afforded Zn(I)-Zn(I) bonded compounds [LZn] in high isolated yields with concomitant elimination of dihydrogen. Stoichiometric reactions, kinetic studies and DFT calculations were conducted to elucidate the reaction mechanism.
这项工作报道了首例催化合成的d区金属-金属键合配合物。在5 mol% Ni(CO)₄(PPh₃)存在下,处理端基氢化锌[LZnH] [L = CHC(2,6-Pr₂CHN)CHC(CH₃)(N(CH₃)CH₂PR₂); = 1, 2; R = Ph, Pr],以高分离产率得到Zn(I)-Zn(I)键合的化合物[L₂Zn₂],同时消除了氢气。进行了化学计量反应、动力学研究和密度泛函理论计算以阐明反应机理。
