BACKGROUND
The genus Pocock, 1901 (Araneae: Mygalomorphae: Halonoproctidae: Ummidiinae) includes 21 species and 1 subspecies occurring in southeast Eurasia. Just like other trapdoor spiders, the specimens of are rare in collections, unless from targeted collecting.
NEW INFORMATION
Two new species of mygalomorph spiders, sp. n. from Guangdong, China and sp. n. from Hainan, China, are described and illustrated from both sexes. Diagnostic characters of the two species are provided.

波科克属（Pocock，1901）（蜘蛛目：原蛛亚目：哈洛隐蛛科：乌米隐蛛亚科）包括21个物种和1个亚种，分布于欧亚大陆东南部。与其他活板门蛛一样，该属标本在收藏中很罕见，除非是有针对性的采集。
