[Ultrasonic cavitation in the treatment of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis in children].

The authors observed 82 children. Ultrasonic cavitation of the infection focus was used in 41 of them, which resulted in a rapid decrease of the level of intoxication and stabilisation of immunological indices. The duration of treatment was 15 days shorter. The process of changing into the chronic form was 20% instead of 35.2%.
