[Value of the oral glucose tolerance test for diagnosis of intrauterine fetal retardation].

Oral glucose tolerance test using 50 g glucose has been done in 76 pregnant women. The newborns were subdivided in 3 groups: under the 5., under the 10. and above the 10. weight percentile. The glucose tolerance test had no predictive value for the diagnosis of intrauterine growth retardation.
