This guideline covers providing integrated health and social care services for people experiencing homelessness. It aims to improve access to and engagement with health and social care, and ensure care is coordinated across different services.
WHO IS IT FOR?: Local authorities. Commissioners and providers of services. Healthcare practitioners in primary, secondary and tertiary care. Social care practitioners. People who experience homelessness, their families, advocates, and the public. This guideline was developed by the National Guideline Alliance, which is hosted by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). The guideline was developed with complete independence from RCOG governance. NICE worked with the Centre for Homelessness Impact on this guideline.
