The significance of the knowledge of the incidence of Dirofilaria immitis in the dog is emphasized since dirofilariasis is a zoonosis which produce subcutaneous tumors which clinical-etiological diagnosis is very difficult. Adult forms are often located in the skin. The percentage of parasitized dogs found in the Havana city is reported. One-hundred-and-two necropsies of gadder dogs depicted that 6,86% of them had Dirofilaria immitis. Results were negative in the remaining 93,13%.
犬恶丝虫病是一种人畜共患病，会产生皮下肿瘤，临床病因诊断非常困难，因此强调了解犬恶丝虫发病率知识的重要性。成虫常位于皮肤中。报告了哈瓦那市发现的感染犬的百分比。对102只膀胱犬进行尸检发现，其中6.86%感染了犬恶丝虫。其余93.13%的结果为阴性。
