Abstract
The results of the ultrasound investigation of 300 patients are described. The procedure and the normal anatomy are demonstrated. Pathological findings are effusion, joint ganglion, chondromalacia, loose bodies in the joint, Baker-cysts and ligamentous lesions. It is probable that future improvement of the equipment will enlarge the diagnostic possibilities.
