Abstract
Commentary is given on a paper [Butler (2022). , , 364-369] reporting the crystallization of two room-temperature liquids, water and 2,2,6,6-tetra-methyl-piperidine, to form a crystalline solid with a water-lined channel potentially capable of proton transport.
