Forty-six patients with defective erection of venous origin were treated by embolization of deep dorsal vein at the Santorini plexus level. Embolization was by insertion of disposable balloons after surgical approach to deep dorsal vein of penis. Follow up showed that 57% of patients had recovered satisfactory, normal sexual activity and 15% a fairly satisfactory sexual activity.
46例静脉性勃起功能障碍患者在圣托里尼丛水平对阴茎背深静脉进行栓塞治疗。栓塞方法是在手术暴露阴茎背深静脉后插入一次性球囊。随访显示，57%的患者恢复了满意的正常性活动，15%的患者性活动较为满意。
