Abstract
Electron-microscopic and cytophotometric studies of the cat abdominal pre- and paravertrebral ganglia have revealed that in the prevertebral ganglion there are neurons of two distinct types. The paravertebral ganglion was found to consist of a structurally homogenous neuronal population.
