Systematic misidentification of toes in normal adults.

This note reports a previously unreported phenomenon: when subjects are asked to indicate subjective correspondence between fingers and toes, there is a remarkably systematic miscorrespondence, consistent across subjects. No satisfactory explanation for these findings has been found.
