Abstract

OBJECTIVE

This study is aimed at investigating the influences of oral administration of probiotics on posthepatectomy recovery in patients in Child-Pugh grade.

METHODS

100 patients (50 cases in Child-Pugh A grade and 50 cases in Child-Pugh B grade) underwent hepatectomy in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were involved in this study. Subsequently, Child-Pugh A grade and Child-Pugh B grade patients were set as probiotics group (taking Clostridium butyricum, = 25) and control group (no probiotics, = 25). The general information, infectious indexes, and liver function indexes on days 1, 3, and 5 after operation were collected.

RESULTS

In Child-Pugh B grade subgroup patients, the procalcitonin, alanine aminotransferase, and prothrombin time of the probiotics group were statistically significantly lower than that of the control group on days 3 ( < 0.05) and 5 ( < 0.05) after surgery. In Child-Pugh A grade subgroup patients, there were no significant differences between probiotics group and control group after operation.

CONCLUSION

Child-Pugh A grade subgroup patients with hepatectomy could not benefit from oral probiotics. However, Child-Pugh B grade subgroup patients taking probiotics after hepatectomy could reduce postoperative infection and accelerate recovery of liver function.

摘要

目的

本研究旨在探讨口服益生菌对不同肝功能 Child-Pugh 分级患者肝切除术后恢复的影响。

方法

选取 2018 年 1 月至 2020 年 1 月在我院行肝切除术的 100 例患者(Child-Pugh A 级 50 例,Child-Pugh B 级 50 例),将 Child-Pugh A 级和 Child-Pugh B 级患者分为益生菌组(服用酪酸梭菌,n=25)和对照组(未服用益生菌,n=25)。收集患者术后第 1、3、5 天的一般资料、感染指标和肝功能指标。

结果

Child-Pugh B 级亚组患者术后第 3、5 天,益生菌组降钙素原、丙氨酸氨基转移酶、凝血酶原时间明显低于对照组(<0.05)。Child-Pugh A 级亚组患者术后两组间无明显差异。

结论

Child-Pugh A 级肝切除术后患者不能从口服益生菌中获益。然而,Child-Pugh B 级肝切除术后患者服用益生菌可以降低术后感染,促进肝功能恢复。
