Ophthalmological screening of 152 employees working at VDUs was carried out. In 62% of the people tested spectacles were prescribed for correction of vision at working range. Two years later a follow-up examination was performed. The correction had to be revised for 23% of the people working et VDUs. It is recommended that ophthalmological screening should not be restricted to people working at VDUs. All employees whose work involves close-range vision require regular ophthalmological check-ups.
对152名从事视频显示终端（VDU）工作的员工进行了眼科筛查。在62%的受测人员中，为其开具了眼镜处方，用于矫正工作距离下的视力。两年后进行了随访检查。对于23%从事VDU工作的人员，其视力矫正情况必须进行调整。建议眼科筛查不应局限于从事VDU工作的人员。所有工作涉及近距离视力的员工都需要定期进行眼科检查。
