A medico-botanical study was carried out in certain villages of the Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh, India, on the traditional uses of medicinal plants by the rural population for curing human diseases. Certain plants were considered useful in only one disease whereas a few had multiple uses. Recipes with a suitable dose, precautions, if any, and mode of administering the drugs are suggested.
