Abstract
An unusual case of localized amyloidosis of the ureter is described. Suspicion of the condition was first raised during operation when a frozen section was examined. An unnecessary nephrectomy was thus spared. It is a rare condition and awareness of the entity is required to recognise it clinically, radiologically or pathologically. The pathogenesis of localized amyloidosis is briefly discussed.

本文描述了一例罕见的输尿管局限性淀粉样变性病例。术中检查冰冻切片时首次怀疑该病，从而避免了不必要的肾切除术。这是一种罕见疾病，需要在临床、放射学或病理学方面认识该实体才能识别。本文简要讨论了局限性淀粉样变性的发病机制。
