The results of examination of 2144 adolescents with bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis coming to the health resort area of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus from various regions of the USSR showed a significant effect of the climatic and weather factors on the efficacy of sanatorium treatment. Change of climatic zones resulted in the reduction of therapeutic efficacy due to dysadaptation reactions of the body necessitating stricter indications for a differentiated selection of adolescents coming from contrast climatic zones of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East.
